The chill in the capital increased on Sunday to a ‘severe cold day’ with the maximum temperature settling at 14.6 degrees Celsius, seven notches below normal. The air quality index registered a slight improvement logging 322 (very poor category), a slight improvement from being in the severe category on Saturday. ​
