Delhi Metro set to cross Yamuna for fifth time

Delhi Metro is all set to cross the Yamuna for the fifth time. But this will be the first time that a cantilever structure similar to the iconic Signature Bridge will be built for the tracks. The cantilever will provide support to the longer spans of the bridge and fewer pillars will be needed on the Yamuna riverbed, thus causing minimal hindrance to the river’s flow.
