Delhi Metro ferries 15,000 passengers on Day 1
As the capital's lifeline, Delhi Metro, began its journey towards resuming normal operations on Monday with the Yellow Line and Rapid Metro making truncated runs after 169 days, commuters seemed to be in a wait-and-watch mode. The two lines with 57 trains together ferried about 15,500 passengers in 462 trips. No wonder, maintaining social distancing was not a problem at all.
