Delhi fire: Corp gets cracking on illegal units

Following the devastating fire at Anaj Mandi on Sunday, North Delhi Municipal Corporation has intensified its sealing drive against factories operating in residential/ nonconforming areas. On Wednesday, the corporation teams visited Chamelian Road in Sadar Bazar and sealed some properties. In the City-Sadar Paharganj area, four properties were sealed between December 9 and 11, 45 were vacated or closed, 13 were issued show-cause notices and in 21 cases, a new survey will be carried out.
