LG VK Saxena gives nod to audit of power discoms, expresses surprise over ‘delay’ by Delhi government

Giving his approval to the proposal to conduct audit of power distribution companies through CAG-empanelled agencies, lieutenant governor VK Saxena on Friday said he was surprised over the “delay” in taking the decision by Delhi government despite giving Rs 13,549 crore of public money to these discoms towards subsidies in the last six years.
